Quiet Periods
Quiet periods are used to define when Connect can and cannot send out messages for the campaign. This is typically used for SMS messaging so that targeted customers are not receiving messages during the night time (e.g. 11:00pm to 7:00am).
Quiet periods are able to be set for a timeframe specific to the campaign. If not defined at the campaign level, the campaign can used the quiet periods defined for the specific company instance or the periods defined for the Connect-system wide.
Quiet periods at all three levels (campaign, company and system) are defined using:
Start time: The time during the day the quiet period begins
End time: The time during the day the quiet period ends
Day: Specific day for the quiet period. 'Everyday' is also an option for this attribute, meaning the quiet period will be used every day of the year.
