Rolling Out and Launching Messages
Once messages are associated with a segment, they are able to be rolled out and launched. When rolling out a message, you are able to:
Schedule the time and day when the message will be sent
Review the message details
Approve the message for sending
Send an internal pre-launch message to list members
Once all of the approvals are performed and the message is scheduled, you are able to launch the message. At the point that the message is launched, the message will be sent at the scheduled day and time.
Prior to rollout, you may test the message content by staging the message. Staging the message sends a test message sent to an internal group. Staging a message can be used to verify the message content and allow others in your organization to proof the message. For more information on staging messages, please see Staging Messages.
Rollout Prerequisites
Before you can complete a rollout, ensure that the message has the following prerequisites:
A completely defined campaign
Completely defined messages
Valid links
Specific launch date
Note: If you roll out a new main message for any event-triggered, subscribe or unsubscribe campaigns, and it is not the campaign's first main message that is rolled out, rolling out a new main message automatically expires the previous main message.
