Editing Deployments

Once a deployment is created, there may be cases where the details of the deployment need to be changed such as connection or port changes.

Editing a Deployment

To edit a deployment:

  1. Navigate to the Deployments screen. The Deployment Editor screen displays.

  2. Click on the name link for the deployment in the centre pane, or right-click on the name of the deployment in the left-side pane and select Edit.

  3. Edit the details of the deployment as necessary:

    • Deployment Name: A unique name for the deployment

    • In the Socialism Mode Settings section, enter the following information:

      • Interval (Minutes): The interval in minutes to run Socialism Mode. Value 0 means it is disabled

      • Duration (Minutes): The duration in minutes that Socialism Mode executes.

    • In the Connect System Info section, edit the following information as necessary:

      • User Name: The user name of the system administrator accessing the deployment

      • Password: The password used for the user name of the system administrator accessing the deployment

      • Connect Deployment Base Directory: The path to the directory for the deployment

      • Base Listening Port for Components: Port number for components

    • In the S/FTP Info section, edit the following information as necessary

      • User Name: The user name for the FTP application

      • Password: The password for the user name of the FTP application

  4. To cancel without saving the changes to the deployment, click the Cancel button. The Deployment Editor screen appears. The changes to the deployment are not saved.

  5. Click the Save button. The Deployment Details screen displays. The changes to the deployment are saved.
