Tracking and Conversions
Connect facilitates email marketing campaigns to convert targeted customers from an email response to a call to action (e.g. making a purchase). When a customer clicks a link in a message, Connect sets a cookie to identify the customer. When the customer completes an action (e.g. submitting an order), a conversion detector in the confirmation page notifies Connect that the action is complete.
The conversion detector provides the ability to:
Track individual customer conversions for future targeting
Track conversions from individual links, messages, and campaigns for effective Return-on-Investment (ROI) reporting
