Connect provides the ability to add extra information related to the server using the Tag Length Value (TLV) parameters. The parameters are used to enhance information required by the server to send messages. TLV parameters are defined using the following attributes:

• Type: The type of parameter, usually alphanumeric, indicating the type of TLV field being defined

• Length: TLV field size, usually in bytes

• Value: The data stored in the field
