Pausing Messages
When a message is launched or ready to launch, you are able to pause the message.to temporarily terminate the sending of the message. Pausing the message will cease the sending of the message until such time that the message is resumed. For more information on resuming messages, please see Resuming Paused Messages.
Note: Because launched messages are able to be paused, ensure that you are pausing the appropriate message associated with the segment. Also ensure that no other departments or users are using the message you intend to pause.
Pausing a Message
To pause a message:
Navigate to the Messages screen for the desired campaign.
Beside the desired message, click the Pause icon (
). The pause message confirmation message displays.
To cancel, without pausing the message, click the Cancel button. The pause confirmation message disappears and the message is not paused.
Click the OK button. The message is paused with a displayed 'Status' of 'Paused.
