General Rules for Integration
Database connectivity (that is, ODBC) between your original database(s) and the staging tables must be established.
ODBC between your staging tables and the Connect ETL staging tables must be established. For details, see the table permission requirements listed under Staging and Job Control Table Specifications.
ODBC between the Connect database and the Informatica server must be established.
All your database sources must write to the Connect ETL staging tables.
The JOB_CONTROL table must be in the same database as your staging tables in order to keep the Date/Time stamp fields of your staging tables in synch with the Date/Time stamp fields in the JOB_CONTROL table.
Customer Master data should be loaded into Connect first, before loading the Customer Subscription and Customer Attribute data.
The ETL error tables (for example, ERROR_CUSTOMER_MASTER, ERROR_CUST_SUBSCRIPTION, ERROR_CUST_ATTRIBUTES) should be checked after data loads are completed in order to analyze and handle data that was not successfully updated into the Connect data schema.
