Editing System Quiet Periods
Once a system quiet period is created it may be necessary to edit the quiet period. This may be necessary if the times for the quiet period need altering or updating.
Editing a Quiet Period
To edit a system quiet period:
Navigate to the Instance Admin screen. The System Parameters screen displays.
Click on the System Quiet Periods sub-menu in the menu bar on the left. The System Quiet Periods screed displays.
Click on the quiet period name link from the list of quiet periods or click on the Edit icon (
) beside the desired quiet period. The Edit Quiet Period screen appears displaying the details of the quiet period.
Enter the quiet period information:
Start Time: The time the quiet period starts ceasing message sending for the system (current time zone for the application)
End Time: The time the quiet period ends and messaging can continue for the system (current time zone for the application)
Day: The day the quiet period timeframe will be active (a select day or 'everyday')
Note: For quiet periods to span midnight, you must create two quiet periods: one period to stop at 11:59pm, and another to start at 12:00am the next day.
To cancel without saving the changes to the quiet period, click the Cancel button. The System Quiet Periods screen appears. The changes to the quiet period is not saved.
Click the Save button. The System Quiet Periods screen appears. The changes to the quiet period are saved.
