Staging Tables

You use Informatica to extract data from a source database or files, transform it, and load it into ETL staging tables. Informatica then automatically moves the data from the staging tables into the Connect database.
Seven ETL staging tables are provided with Informatica when you purchase it for use with Connect.

  • ETL_CUST_PREFERENCES

  • ETL_CUST_SUBSCRIPTION

  • ETL_CUST_ATTRIBUTES

  • ETL_EVENT_QUEUE_DETAIL

  • ETL_EVENT_QUEUE

  • ETL_CUSTOMER_MASTER

  • ETL_JOB_CONTROL

Eight error tables are also provided. These tables are written to if something goes wrong during the Informatica process:

  • ERROR_CUST_PREFERENCES

  • ERROR_CUST_SUBSCRIPTION

  • ERROR_CUST_ATTRIBUTES

  • ERROR_CUSTOMER_MASTER

  • ERROR_EVENT_QUEUE

  • ERROR_EVENT_QUEUE_DETAIL

  • ERROR_HISTORY

  • ERROR_MASTER

These fifteen tables are relational database tables in the Connect database.
