Staging Tables
You use Informatica to extract data from a source database or files, transform it, and load it into ETL staging tables. Informatica then automatically moves the data from the staging tables into the Connect database.
Seven ETL staging tables are provided with Informatica when you purchase it for use with Connect.
ETL_CUST_PREFERENCES
ETL_CUST_SUBSCRIPTION
ETL_CUST_ATTRIBUTES
ETL_EVENT_QUEUE_DETAIL
ETL_EVENT_QUEUE
ETL_CUSTOMER_MASTER
ETL_JOB_CONTROL
Eight error tables are also provided. These tables are written to if something goes wrong during the Informatica process:
ERROR_CUST_PREFERENCES
ERROR_CUST_SUBSCRIPTION
ERROR_CUST_ATTRIBUTES
ERROR_CUSTOMER_MASTER
ERROR_EVENT_QUEUE
ERROR_EVENT_QUEUE_DETAIL
ERROR_HISTORY
ERROR_MASTER
These fifteen tables are relational database tables in the Connect database.
